Un nuovo ramo della famiglia / A new family branch?

Dopo una ricerca abbastanza esaustiva su internet, il sito familysearh.org mi ha dato alcune informazioni nteressanti. Ho trovato un ramo della famiglia Vigentini che va indietro fino al 1700. Questi sono originari di Borgonovo (PC) e ci sono un paio di generazioni che cominciano con Raffaele Vigentini e Caterina Gravati.

Considerato che non ci sono molti Vigentini in Italia e che il comune di Borgonovo e' molto vicino alla mia citta' natale di Lodi, il sito gens italia riporta la presenza del cognome in 37 comuni, questo mi fa pensare che Raffaele e Caterina possano essere parenti lontani. Questo e' uno sviluppo interessante, tuttavia non ne posso essere sicuro finche' trovero' il legame parentale mancante.

After performing an extensive search on the web I found something interesting on the familysearch.org website. I came across a branch of the Vigentini family which goes back to the 1700. They are originally from Borgonovo (PC) and there are references to a couple of generations starting from Raffaele Vigentini and Caterina Gravati.

At this time there is no evidence that they are relatives, however there aren't many Vigentini in Italy -the site gens italia reports the presence of the surname in only 37 towns- and Borgonovo is quite close to my home town Lodi. This makes me think that they could well be related. This is quite intriguing and I can't be sure of this until I find the missing link!
